Debbie King Mabray is well known as a compelling author, a highly effectual therapist, and a dedicated community service volunteer.  Ms. Mabray founded the Texas Women in Leadershihp Coalition, Inc. to assist at-risk female students in Central Texas in career planning and networking.  The Coalition is comprised of nine female leaders  within the Killeen and Temple, TX region.  These ladies hold a leadership seminar yearly and offer need-based scholarships.

Ms. Mabray has also established a committee for a Life and Learning Center of Central Texas.  This project, currently in the infant stage, will be geared toward the special needs population, ages 12-24, teaching life skills and vocational skills, helping to integrate the participants into the workplace.

Ms. Mabray is in private practice; she is part owner of the Adult, Child, & Family Counseling Centers located in Marble Falls, Austin, Temple, Round Rock, and Killeen (home office).  John J. Leach, LCSW, is her business partner.  He specializes in treating children with clinical disorders as well as teens and young adults.

Debbie is a LPC Supervisor and will be an LMFT supervisor as of 1-16-07.   She developed the Complete Study Guide series initially to assist her in studying for licensure exams.  When she began sharing the guides with interns, and they were successful, she began selling the guides.  At this point, the LMFT guide is 99.2% successful (on the first exam attempt) and the NCE guide has been 98% effective (on the first exam attempt).
